Aston Martin unveils new 'S' models at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The British brand will showcase a range of new, performance-focused 'S' models at this year's event, including the DB12 S, Vantage S and DBX S, representing the most powerful series production models it has ever created.

Leading the charge is the DB12 S, the most powerful front-engine V8 non-hybrid model in its class. It produces 700 PS and 800 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, thanks to its recalibrated eight-speed gearbox with 120-millisecond shifts. Handling improvements include revised damper software, an optimised electronic differential and a thicker anti-roll bar.
The Vantage S delivers 680 PS and 800 Nm from its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, reaching 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. It features a bespoke drive-by-wire throttle map and revised suspension hardware. Styling changes include centrally mounted bonnet blades and a full-width rear spoiler.

The DBX S brings performance-focused enhancements to the luxury SUV segment, offering 727 PS and 900 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and it weighs up to 47 kg less than the DBX707 thanks to technology transferred from the Valhalla supercar.

The brand will also be running the AMR25 Formula One car at Goodwood, where drivers Jak Crawford and Jessica Hawkins will be making their hill climb debut. Completing the line-up are the Valhalla PHEV supercar, the Valkyrie hypercar and the third-generation Vanquish.
The Goodwood Festival offers European enthusiasts a rare opportunity to see Aston Martin's expanded S range in action alongside the brand's most extreme creations. The festival runs from 9 to 12 July at Goodwood House in Sussex.
