Honda is bidding farewell to its legendary Civic Type R in style with the release of the strictly limited "Ultimate Edition". Only 40 units will be available across Europe before the model is discontinued in 2026.

Exclusive design: It is painted in the iconic Championship White with red decals, a black roof and carbon fibre accents, including the wing and door sills.

Interior Touches: Carbon console trim, ambient lighting and projected Type R logos when the doors are opened.

Collector's Kit: Each buyer receives a numbered plaque (1-40), a carbon key ring, custom mats and a car cover.

The Ultimate Edition marks the end of 28 years of Type R dominance, a lineage that includes Nürburgring records and World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) championships.

The current (FL5) Civic Type R will be the last one sold in Europe due to increasingly stringent emissions regulations. Although Honda hasn’t confirmed a successor, rumours suggest that an electrified performance model could emerge later this decade.

Only 40 units are available, allocated across European markets, and the standard Type R will remain on sale until 2026. This is a chance for die-hard fans to own the most refined Type R ever - and likely the last purely combustion-powered one - in Europe.
