The SXT-C10PS car radio from Pioneer is a throwback to the past

With its all-new SXT-C10PS, Pioneer is tapping into classic car nostalgia. This retro-styled, 1-DIN car radio blends seamlessly into vintage BMWs, Porsches, and Mercedes-Benzes, while offering modern technology.
What sets this radio apart?
1980s/1990s aesthetic: Designed to resemble period-correct OEM units, it features a faux cassette deck that conceals USB and AUX ports.
Modern features: Bluetooth, DAB+ digital radio, and smartphone app control are included, so you don't have to sacrifice convenience for authenticity.
Customizable Lighting: RGB illumination lets you match your classic car's dashboard lighting.
High-End Audio: 50W x 4 MOSFET amplifier, 13-band equalizer, and pre-outs for subwoofers-ideal for upgrading old speakers.
Built for classic car owners
Pioneer’s research shows that 70% of classic car owners prefer to keep their interiors period-correct instead of installing flashy, modern touchscreens. The SXT-C10PS offers the best of both worlds.
No Screen, No Problem The minimalist design won't clash with vintage dashboards.
Smartphone control: Adjust settings with the Pioneer Smart Sync app instead of fiddling with buttons.
Security: The removable faceplate deters theft, which is essential for valuable classics.
Classic car market demand is growing
With 1.5 million classic cars registered in Germany alone, and with the market growing by 7.5% each year, Pioneer anticipates high demand for upgrades that look authentic.
"Owners want modern functionality without compromising the original look," says Girish Janday, Pioneer Europe’s marketing manager. "This radio delivers just that."
It will be available starting in October 2025. The price has not yet been announced, but we saw it listed on some websites starting at €399.
