Vintage Alfa Romeos dominate the 2025 1000 Miglia with a historic 1-2-3 sweep

The cobblestone streets of Brescia echoed with the mechanical symphony of pre-war engines as Alfa Romeo secured an impressive one-two-three finish at the 2025 1000 Miglia. A 96-year-old 1929 6C 1750 Super Sport, driven by the Italian pair Vesco and Salvinelli, led the way along the 1,900 km route, flanked by two other vintage Alfas in a triumphant display of automotive heritage.
While the classic cars stole the show, Alfa Romeo bridged the past and the future: the 1900 Super Sprint from Stellantis' heritage fleet completed the race with the Luna Rossa America's Cup team aboard, while modern models such as the Junior Hybrid Q4 and the Giulia Quadrifoglio Super Sport served as support cars. The biggest crowd-pleaser? The new 33 Stradale hypercar, which made its dynamic debut with its carbon-fibre curves nodding to the original from 1967 as it shadowed its ancestors along the route.
This victory marks another chapter in Alfa's 115-year racing legacy, which began when Tazio Nuvolari averaged 100 km/h on dirt roads in a 6C 1750.
