Alpine celebrates 70 years with record-breaking Dieppe gathering

Dieppe was transformed into a sea of blue as 150,000 fans and 1,700 Alpines came together to celebrate the brand's heritage and future.
The French seaside town of Dieppe, birthplace of Alpine, hosted an unforgettable 70^(th)-anniversary celebration for the iconic sports car brand this past weekend (30 May - 1 June). The event attracted 150,000 enthusiasts and an impressive 1,700 Alpines, spanning vintage classics and the latest models, which lined the seafront in a spectacular display.
New model reveals: Alpine showcased its A390 sports fastback, fresh from its debut with Pierre Gasly and Zinedine Zidane, as well as the limited-edition A110 R 70, which pays tribute to seven decades of performance. Also making an appearance was the A290, recently crowned 2025 Car of the Year.
Historic Parade: A 7 km procession of 700 Alpines-the largest ever-took over the former Dieppe/St-Aubin circuit, retracing the brand’s racing roots.
Future Tech on Display: The Alpenglow Hy6, featuring Alpine’s hydrogen-powered six-cylinder engine, roared through the streets, offering a glimpse into the brand's commitment to sustainability.
Alpine CEO Philippe Krief emphasised the brand’s legacy: 'Celebrating in Dieppe, where Jean Rédélé founded Alpine, is symbolic. The A390 represents our future, but it’s built on 70 years of passion and daring.'
Fans enjoyed autograph sessions with Alpine drivers, including endurance racer Charles Milesi, while parades of the A110 R Ultime, GTS and Alpenglow, the latter of which is powered by hydrogen, kept the crowds buzzing.
With 1,700 cars gathered, this event was more than just a birthday party-it was a testament to Alpine’s cult following. The mix of classic A110s, cutting-edge prototypes and new production models proved that the brand’s appeal spans generations.
