The company has previewed its new Rampage pickup for the European market. The vehicle was unveiled at Fieracavalli, an international horse show in Verona. This suggests that the truck is intended for people whose urban errands might unexpectedly involve traversing a muddy field or two.

Positioned as a "premium compact lifestyle pickup," the Rampage aims to fill the niche between a compact SUV and a traditional midsize pickup truck. It comes in two versions: the off-road-ready Rebel, which has a 200-hp diesel engine; and the sportier R/T, which has a 272-hp gasoline engine capable of launching the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds-handy for beating minivans away from traffic lights.

Despite its "compact" label, the Rampage is over five meters long and has a 980-liter load bed, making it perfect for picking up a single bag of groceries or a large houseplant. With a luxurious interior featuring a 12.3-inch screen and a Harman Kardon audio system, drivers can enjoy premium comfort while having a perfect view over every other vehicle in the supermarket parking lot.
European prices have not been announced yet.
