Dodge brings next-generation Charger to Europe with electric and petrol options

Orders are now open for the next-generation Charger in Europe, marking the return of the iconic American muscle car to European roads. The new line-up includes an all-electric Daytona version and a petrol-powered variant featuring a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine called the SIXPACK.
Built on Stellantis' STLA Large platform, the Charger was designed from the outset to accommodate both battery-electric and internal combustion powertrains. European customers can choose between two-door and four-door body styles, with R/T and Scat Pack trims available across both powertrains.

The Charger Daytona is the all-electric option. The Scat Pack produces 670 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while the R/T delivers 536 horsepower, achieving the same acceleration in 4.2 seconds. Both models feature a 100.5 kWh battery and 400-volt architecture, offering DC fast charging from 20 to 80 percent in approximately 27 minutes. A PowerShot button provides a short burst of extra power.
The Charger with a SIXPACK engine uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine. The Scat Pack delivers 550 horsepower and can reach 96 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while the R/T produces 420 horsepower. Both models come with standard all-wheel drive and an on-demand rear-wheel drive mode that can send 100 per cent of the torque to the rear wheels.

The Charger line-up includes features such as Launch Control, Line Lock for burnouts, multiple drive modes and a 16-inch digital instrument cluster. A Track Package is available for the Daytona Scat Pack, which adds larger brakes, staggered wheels and adaptive suspension.
Pricing for European buyers starts at €66,000. The first deliveries are expected in September 2026. The Charger is imported by KWA, Dodge's official European importer, and will be available through its dealer network.
