Limited to just 25 units, the all-new Renault 5 Monte Carlo Edition channels the spirit of Renault’s motorsport heritage, particularly that of the iconic Clio Williams from the early 1990s. Although the press release does not mention the Williams by name, the design cues make the inspiration clear.

Priced from €37,995, the Monte Carlo Edition is based on the Techno trim, which normally starts at €29,990, and comes with a 120 hp electric motor and a 40 kWh battery. Exclusively available from Zeeuw & Zeeuw, Renault’s Dutch dealership, this car is positioned as a collector's item for design and motorsport enthusiasts.

Collaboration with Re-Volve

The project was developed in partnership with Re-Volve, a Dutch design and coachbuilding firm renowned for its bespoke, luxury vehicles. This collaboration showcases how bespoke modifications can elevate both the driving experience and the aesthetic appeal.

While the standard Renault 5 already has retro vibes, this Monte Carlo Edition takes them further, proving that even an electric vehicle (EV) can carry the torch of Renault’s racing legacy.
