Ferrari Amalfi unveiled as the new face of Italian grand touring

The Amalfi is a sleek 2+2 grand tourer that reimagines the Roma's design with sharper lines, a 640 HP twin-turbo V8 engine and technology borrowed from the brand's hybrid halo cars. Named after Italy’s iconic coastal paradise, the Amalfi offers 3.3-second 0-100 km/h acceleration alongside unexpected practicality, including rear seats with ample space and a 273-litre boot.
Engine: Evolved 3.9L F154 V8 twin-turbo
Performance: 0-200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, top speed 320 km/h
Tech: Brake-by-wire, ABS Evo, and active rear spoiler from the 296 GTB
Design: Sculpted "Verde Costiera" body (0.24 Cd) with hidden aerodynamics
The interior replaces the Roma’s haptic controls with physical buttons, including the return of Ferrari’s iconic aluminium start button. A triple-screen layout comprising a 15.6-inch driver display, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch passenger screen runs Ferrari’s latest HMI, while an optional Burmester 3D audio system delivers concert-hall acoustics.
The Amalfi is more than just a styling exercise; it is Ferrari’s response to critics who claimed that its front-engine V8 line-up lacked cutting-edge technology. By adapting hardware from the 296 GTB and SF90, Maranello demonstrates that there is still room for combustion engines to evolve.
Prices start at €245,000, with deliveries due to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
