For a decade, Lamborghini’s most secretive atelier has been performing a very specific kind of magic. It doesn’t just fix old cars; it resurrects legends. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of its Polo Storico heritage department, the Italian marque is pulling back the curtain on the meticulous, almost archaeological process that returns its classic cars to their original, roaring glory.

The department, established in 2015, is built on four core pillars: a vast Historical Archive, a Committee of Experts, a world-class Restoration service, and an official Certification of Authenticity. The work is an act of profound reverence, treating each vehicle not as a used car, but as a priceless piece of automotive history.
The restoration process is a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. Master artisans, armed with original technical drawings from the company's extensive archive, painstakingly recreate components that have been out of production for decades. Every decision is scrutinized-from the exact shade of paint to the tactile feel of the steering wheel-with the singular goal of restoring the car’s authentic identity.

This dedication extends to manufacturing original spare parts, with Polo Storico now producing components for over 65% of the historic fleet, from the iconic 350 GT to the mighty Diablo. This ensures that these automotive works of art can not only be restored but also maintained for future generations.
