Dodge has today unveiled the 2026 Charger Daytona sedan, adding a striking four-door variant to its next-generation muscle car range. The new model joins the two-door Charger Daytona coupé and offers the same 670-horsepower all-electric performance. However, sales of the electric Charger have yet to match demand for traditional gas-powered muscle cars.
Although Stellantis has promoted the electric Charger as the future of Dodge performance, the market response has been mixed. Many enthusiasts are still awaiting the Hurricane inline-six-powered Charger SIXPACK, which is due to be released later this year, and there are persistent rumours about a potential Hemi V8 option. Additionally, Dodge has not yet confirmed whether the Charger Daytona will be released in Europe, leaving its global rollout uncertain.
Key highlights of the 2026 Charger Daytona sedan:
- Performance: 670 hp, 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds and all-wheel drive, matching the coupé's capabilities.
- Design: It shares the coupe’s aggressive widebody styling, with a focus on practicality via four doors.
- Track Package Option: Upgraded Brembo brakes, adaptive suspension and performance seats.
- Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust: The fake synthetic muscle car sound remains a special feature of Dodge.
